worthington square: Worthington Ohio Small Business Saturday 11-27-2010 - 11/24/10 09:12 AM
Worthington Ohio Small Business Saturday - November 17, 2010 From the Small Business Saturday Facebook Page: "A day to come together in support of the small businesses we love. The businesses that are the heartbeat of our communities and local economies. That day is November 27, 2010—the first-ever Small Business SaturdaySM. " Many but not all of the small businesses in Worthington are in Old Worthington... or Olde Worthington. Who do you want to support on Saturday? This is an exciting time for the Wilson Bridge Corridor and the Worthington Square Mall. Worthington Ohio Small Business Saturday, November 17, 2010

worthington square: Hey Worthington who has photos? Worthington Square - 08/07/10 12:46 PM
Hey Worthington who has photos of Worthington Square? Old photos? From the beginning? From the early years? I went on the walk a few weeks ago... the walk of the Wilson Bridge Road Corridor from the Community Center to Olentany Park... one of the photos I took that day was of the Worthington Mall entrance in July 2010. That photo must be on my Posterous, Columbus Life... or on ColumbusBestBlog.com I went to see what Bird Houck came up with Wednesday night (August 4, 2010.) Who has photos or memories of what the mall in Worthington was like in the beginning?

worthington square: When Worthington's W. Wilson Bridge Rd. moved - 12/08/09 05:31 AM
Worthington's W. Wilson Bridge Rd. moved? "1967 I-270 and Rt 23 interchange, looking north" Clicking on the photo will take you to the photo on Flickr. 1967-xx-xx I-270 and Rt 23 interchange, looking north Wilson Bridge Road is the two squares south of the 270 interchange. Route 23 (High Street) runs straight down the middle. W. Wilson Bridge Rd. was moved south? In reading 'Worthington Neighborhoods' when it came to reading the chapters about the Worthington Estates and Olentangy Hills neighborhoods and the resistance of residents to shopping malls I understood that W. Wilson Bridge Rd is not exactly where it

worthington square: Foreclosure in Worthington brings hope - 02/20/09 09:04 AM
The foreclosure on the Worthington Square Mall was in December 2008 I believe. I visited the mall once at Christmas time, the first time I had gone over since August 2008. The Victoria Secret Store and The Bath and Body Works store were noticeably gone since I visited the mall in late summer. An article in Business First Columbus last Friday said 19 of the 43 mall spots are filled, about 50 percent. .. reading about the Worthington Square Mall a couple of weeks ago in another local publication I remarked that 50 percent seemed high to me, it seemed like

worthington square: Worthington Square - 08/19/08 05:15 AM
Worthington Square is undergoing a remodel. Stores at Worthington Square include the Talbot's collection (Petites, Kids, Accesories, etc.), Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body, Ann Taylor, Chico's, Crabtree & Evelyn, Jos. A. Bank, Pendleton, Godfry's and White House Black Market... The Kroger store has been expanded and remodeled, it is on e of Kroger's "Fresh Fare" stores. Map Worthington Square I walked through the mall Sunday, there is lots of empty space. Caribou Coffee is gone, Larson's Toy Store is gone, Acorn is gone. Godfry's is moving to Polaris soon. I still love Worthington Square, the fountain, the skylights...
