Hello all,

We've launched a new website, Compago 3.0 at www.compago.net

It's never been more affordable (and essential) to use professional photography for all of your listings from Northern California's premiere photo studio - Compago.

Our rates are always affordable.

We work with all budgets and photograph all sorts of listings. Just call for a quote - 530-392-3354

Just so everyone knows, Compago is a Latin tern for "Join Together" and is pronounced "com-pah-go"

Hello all,

Do you know of any listings that need professional photography? Here's how to tell - the listing images are crooked, slanted, orange, walls are bent, lighting is uneven and dark or bright white spots from the on-camera flash..

Know any Brokers, Agents or Realtors looking for a professional photographer? Please refer them to us - or us to them!

We pay very well, handsomely I might add, for any successful referrals. Email or call me for details in the studio at 530-392-3354

Best,

Dale Charles

SELLERS: MAKE SURE your listing agent/broker is using a Pro Photographer!

Case in point: Realtor.com, MetrolistMLS and The new Luxury Home Magazine feature some of the worst photographs of Real Estate I have ever seen.

I spent the entire week combing through these websites and the new issue of LHM and it is quite clear now that a gargantuan percentage of listing agents and brokers are representing your home for sale with crap snapshots - crooked, incorrect white balance, lens distortion and poor lighting.

As a professional photographer I can assure you that amateur snapshots do NOT "Best Represent" your listing or better your chances of finding you a buyer!

Even the cover of the new LHM (Issue 4.6) is crooked (it needs to rotate clockwise), and the white balance is  too warm (orange), and nearly every ad within this issue (except my photography, 'natch) is terrible amateur grade snapshot quality. If I were a seller I'd be furious.

Shame on those Realtors for poorly representing a clients million dollar-plus investment - I'd name names but the list is simply too long.

Thanks to Brokers Nick Sadek, Jennifer Teie, Valisa Schmidley and Kelly Richardson for having the fortitude and vison to understand what it means to provide "Exceptional Representation" to their clients.

Realtors, Brokers, Agents, Sellers: Call me at 530-392-3354 for a custom quote for professional photography of your valued listing.

Compago, Norhtern California's premier Real Estate photography studio is proud to annouce that it has photographed the cover of Luxury Home Magazine Issue 4.4 -

Plugging around realtor dot com today and it is truly amazing that I see two, three, four million dollar plus properties listed with crooked snapshots - this truly defines AMATEUR. Would a seller really want their valued home represented with snapshots like you take at a kids party?

Three basic signs of an amateur photographer:

1. Walls and ceilings are crooked. Vertical and horizontal perspective are way off.

2. White Balance is incorrect (orange or blue interiors)

3. Dark areas or "flashy" looking, i.e bad or no lighting.

4. Lens distortion, or "bending" walls, warped edges etc.

Okay thats four. And there are more as well.

Solution: Hire a professional photographer. Call Compago

Call 530-392-3354 for a quote, we're the real deal and we work with all budgets

Consider using professional photography to best represent your client's home.

According to a recent survey, the use of professional photography increases the perceived value by nearly 12 percent. On a $500,000 home, this equates to an increase in perceived value of $30,000 and $60,000 respectively.

The New York Times reports that using professional photography is essential in marketing Real Estate as well: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/02/11/realestate/11cov.html?pagewanted=1&ei=5090&en=df26766191f80c8c&ex=1328850000&partner=rssuserland&emc=rss
