When I first decided to create a website for my business, I did it because of the frustrations I had experienced when looking at other websites trying to find information on Costa Rica real estate and other related issues.

If any of you have browsed my blog recently, you may have seen a new "weatherlet" (weather widget) that I added to the right side of the blog. I set it up to show the weather for San Jose, Costa Rica, which is where one of the International airports is located in Costa Rica.
If you take a close look at the weather forecast displayed on this weatherlet, you might actually be turned off from going there right now. At the time of this writing, there are thunderstorms forecast for today and the rest of the week. Not too appealing, right?

I recently read an article in the Business & Real Estate section of the Tico Times that the founder of AOL, Steve Case, is planning an $800 million development in the Northwestern part of the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. Hmmmm... That's a long way to go from being a pioneer of the Internet to a pioneer of Costa Rica!

I cannot believe the things I do for my job. This past weekend, I really roughed it - I spent the whole weekend at the beach!
Huntington Beach to be exact, to promote Costa Rica real estate at the US Open of Surfing 2007. This is THE surfing event of the year, and it always happens out in Huntington Beach, CA.
