Being a real estate investor, I am always curious as to the investment potential that each property holds.  A property can sound amazing, have an abundance of amenities, be in a great location, but I won't feel comfortable parting with any money until I have some actual numbers in front of me, allowing me to evaluate the income potential.  And of course, I wouldn't expect my clients to want any less.

I've made numerous posts now about all of the wonderful facts about Costa Rica and its real estate market, as well as some real estate opportunities that are currently available now.  I've also mentioned that the three primary buying groups are investors, retirees, and vacationers.  But do you know why?
The story actually goes WAY back, but I'll leave that part out of it right now.  Costa Rica's amazing real estate market didn't just happen overnight - it is something that history created over the past century.  Pure luck really, but it's here now.

And no, this isn't a "hook" - it's real.  Houses in the gated community of Costa Real near Jaco Beach in Costa Rica first went on sale 2 years ago for $160K.  These same houses are now selling for $265K, and it is very likely that they will continue to appreciate significantly.
Consider this - these houses are brand new, 2 and 3 bedroom homes, where each bedroom is a master bedroom.  The community boasts of numerous amenities, like pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, community BBQ area, and just a 3 minute walk to the beach.  Okay, well it isn't beachfront.  … (0 comments)
