What a beautiful weekend !! Hello Spring !
The weather is so inviting and many folks took advantage of getting out and shopping/ dining along the Beaufort Waterfront Saturday! The parking lots were just about full, streets lined with people on the boardwalk, pushing strollers, holding hands -- and simply enjoying the 70 something weather with a coastal breeze--just lovely! After showing my listing at 1909 Front Street to an interested party I slipped into an open space ordered a Chai Tea.. and soaked up a few minutes of sunshine myself along the docks.What a cool place, interesting people and oh yeah.. Down East, Beaufort NC.... Peacocks co-habitate with local homeowners !
They are quite vocal, stubborn and inquisitive. I was in awe of the glorious coloring and sense of confidence they displayed.

Yesterday 4-2-10 was a glorious day here along the Crystal Coast !
With temps in the 80's and clear blue Carolina skies... this Cardinal was photographed singing his heart out just off the front deck of our Emerald Isle beach cottage.
As for Good Friday, I was enjoying the day off before a busy work week scheduled with vacationers looking for a good deal along the Crystal Coast !
The Emerald Isle ocean surf was calm all day and as my husband, daughter and I soaked in our first day of sunshine for the season we watched two dolphin play off … (3 comments)

As my husband and I enjoyed our weekly lunch at The Ruddy Duck Tavern/ Restaurant located on the Morehead City Waterfront...
this beauty pulled in and docked .... Can you say Sweeeet !
