Fun with Widgets! - 06/23/08 10:29 AM
It’s always fun to customize your site, and pick out different widgets that will draw in your customer, and provide them the information they are looking for, in an easy and attractive format.
I’ve found other real estate blogs that have done a thorough examination of several different widgets, and put them all together here. I’m convinced you’ll find just the widget you’re looking for. But as a reminder, be selective with your widgets. Too many will cause your website or blog to load very slowly, which will only drive away your customers (not the result you’re looking for!).

Focus on Systems - 06/23/08 10:27 AM
The greatest thing that ever happened to my business was implementing systems that ran/worked automatically.
The most challenging hurdle you need to jump is the systemization of your business. Actually, taking the first step is the hardest part. Sometimes it’s difficult to “let go” because you might be worried someone else won’t do the job as well as you.
Mike Litman says “you don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going!”
I say, “You don’t have to create a masterpiece to start; you just have to dip your brush in the paint.”
Here are some ideas … (2 comments)

Web 2.0 Wrap-Up #2 - 06/20/08 11:41 AM
Last time, we discussed the meaning of Web 2.0, so this time we will start to touch on ways to begin using Web 2.0 tools.
As you look at the many tools and services out there, it's easy to become overwhelmed. Where should you start? Which tool should you try first? To avoid spreading yourself too thin trying every site, and getting discouraged at a lack of results, step back and decide what your goals are.
Just as trying to focus on the keyword "real estate" in a Google search will get you lost in a sea of results, so will using … (2 comments)

Web 2.0 Wrap-up - 06/20/08 10:39 AM
Welcome to my inaugural Web 2.0 weekly wrap-up post! Each week I'll touch on different aspects of Web 2.0, and ways to use them to increase your Inner Circle, provide consistency in your Internet marketing, web presence and generate more referrals.
Wikipiedia defines Web 2.0 as:
Web 2.0 is a trend in the use of World Wide Web technology and web design that aims to facilitate creativity, information sharing, and, most notably, collaboration among users. These concepts have led to the development and evolution of web-based communities and hosted services, such as social-networking sites, wikis, blogs, and folksonomies.
Basically, Web 2.0 is the … (0 comments)

Rich Rogala says “Let Your Clients Do the Talking Via Email” - 06/09/08 11:58 PM
It’s easy to understand how your email signature blocks can work for you. By being accessible and including your contact information you begin to build a relationship. By including a link to a special offer you position yourself as a valuable partner. There is another tactic I use to connect with clients. It actually is my clients, or rather, their words. By including testimonials in your email signature block, you establish satisfaction and increased credibility. Doesn’t it make sense to have someone else talking (or in this case writing) about you and your business? Why not let testimonials for past and … (1 comments)

Give Your Clients a Reason to Like and Trust You in Each Contact - 06/09/08 11:53 PM
It’s a good idea to be accessible to your clients. Not only should you be accessible, you should be establishing a relationship with each contact. That brings me to the subject of likeability and trust. Clients are more likely to connect with you and believe in you when you offer them valuable information.Your email signature block is a fantastic way to offer something of value for free. Include a link to a special report, newsletter or other relevant information. For example, I invite email recipients to check out my free 5 Key Principles of Lead Generation report on the sidebar of www.ConsistentClients.com

Consistently Connect With Clients by Effectively Using Your Email Tools - 06/09/08 11:46 PM
I think we all understand the importance of connecting with clients. With no real connection there is no relationship. With no relationship, there is no deal. With no deal, there is no income. Now, that may seem harsh but it is a reality. Are you using all the tools you have to consistently connect with your clients? Here is a quick tip: Fully utilize your email signature block to connect with clients. Be sure to include your contact information and an action item to drive traffic to your website or blog. It is a good idea to refresh your message every … (12 comments)
