 It's the end of February and the phones are ringing on Cape Cod.   The promise of a Beach Home for the summer has the Buyers making the calls... Ok, so I am not the best when it comes to keeping track of where my marketing dollar goes.   I am an emotional purchaser of marketing stuff and ads.   Would love to be more calculating, more interested in demographic and just plain more concious of whether my advertising dollar is going to reap returns...but I am not there yet.   I am a "do gooder" by nature.   Non-profit, save the world social worker type who fell into real estate by accident and a high desire to decorate other peoples homes...  Some time in November my Real Estate Assistant told me she had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.   I was stunned.   You see I have buried my Mom and 19 other friends (men and women) because of this disease.  My husband and i,  inherited two daughters 4 years ago because of Breast Cancer... I have celebrated with over 11 friends who have battled Breast Cancer and won so now...my assistant has it too?   Breast Cancer is Tenacious...huh?   Last year, my two girls asked I walk for breast cancer to honor their Mom... so I did.   I was not going to do it this year...too … (2 comments)
