This is surprising to me given the sheer volume of amenities that Lake Forest Park has to offer - the parks and shopping are wonderful. You should never speed anyway, but anyone knows that there are two places you should know you will be caught speeding in: Seattle Suburbs Brier WA and Lake Forest Park WA. It is practically common knowledge for anyone living there or even driving through. Well Lake Forest Park has come up with a great tool to make sure to keep would be speeders in check - cameras that video tape speeders in school zones.

Doggy Bags in a different light... I love that Lake Forest Park city parks have those green dispensers with doggy waste bags, but did you know that they are biodegradable? It is true!
Dog Waste us a big problem actually as far as ground water pollution goes - it is shocking so I am glad LFP is doing their part. Remember to put the dog waste in the garbage NOT your green bin, PLEASE!

I love the focus on trails and walk ability of the city. Lake Forest Park has so many wonderful aspects to it, but the mere fact that two state highways run right through the heart of the city's downtown retail challenges the ability to easily connect with your town as a resident. It is nice that they are really getting around that!
