effective blogging: "Can't" write - here's how to get over it

So many of the agents I speak with say they know they should be blogging, but they “can’t write.” They don’t know how to put a sentence together to make it interesting.
If you’re lurking here at Active Rain and thinking you wish you could blog, but just don’t know how to write something good, try a learning method used by copywriters across the world...
It's one of the first exercises I did when I began studying copywriting, and it was an exercise I resisted because it was, truthfully, downright boring.
But... the book said it was important, so I did it anyway.

effective blogging: Why some of us unsubscribe - my rant for the night

Tonight I unsubscribed from someone I'd been following.
Why? Because when I went to my "favorites" page, at least half of the posts that showed were from this one person. And all of them were variations of the same "I'm the best agent in <city>, pick me" ad. (No, I didn't read all the posts - you could tell from what showed.)
Why do people do that?
And - HOW do they do that? Even if you have ten pre-written posts, it takes a minute or so to go to each one and say "post."
