Grammar checker can lead you far astray...
Yesterday I was finishing up a new letter set for prospecting to tenants. In one letter I mentioned that house payments can now sometimes be less than rent payments for comparable housing.
In the call to action, I wrote an invitation to call, and then said "I'll tell you what the market has been doing and show you what you can buy for less than you're paying today."
Word's Grammar checker immediately chimed in to tell me I had made a mistake.
Instead of saying "you're paying today" Word wanted me to write "you … (8 comments)

And we wonder why people learning our language can have difficulties?
No doubt, many of those for whom English is a second language  are relying on their computers to help them avoid spelling and grammar mistakes. And that might be the biggest mistake of all.
For instance:
This morning I was writing my weekly real estate marketing ezine. This time it's advice about how to write homes for sale ads that make people want to see the home.
One sentence reads: "The idea is to arouse interest and cause your readers to imagine themselves enjoying life in … (8 comments)
