real estate copywriter: Real Estate Copywriting FAQ's - What does it cost? - 06/06/12 10:14 AM
Often, when an agent contacts me about using my real estate copywriting services, the first question is "What does it cost?" If they're asking about a bio, I can answer: $300. For anything else, the answer is "It depends on what you want." Asking what it costs to write marketing copy is kind of like walking up to a home builder and asking what it costs to build a house. real estate copywriter: R E Copywriting FAQ's - Does my copywriter need RE sales experience? - 06/01/12 12:22 AM
Is it necessary for a real estate copywriter to have real estate sales experience? It can be helpful if the person writing your real estate web copy, prospecting letters, and other marketing materials has experience in selling real estate, but I don't think it's necessary. While a writer with real estate sales experience will know about things like the Fair Housing and ADA laws that restrict what you can say in advertising, that is information you can provide. It's also important for your writer to know something about what you do and about what makes a house sell or not sell.

When you choose a benefit to write about, think "So what?" Then answer the question. Look at your answer and ask again. "So what?" Keep doing that until you list all
