Even HVAC contractors can now go green - and apparently get awarded for it! Eleven Massachusetts HVAC contractors were just given the "Cool Smart Award" from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for providing their customers with Energy Star®-qualified residential HVAC systems, which reduce greenhouse gas emissions. According to the program's sponsors, HVAC contractors who offer these environment-friendly HVAC systems will soon be in high demand.
