How is the housing market in North Branch shaping up this year?
Not as good as last year unfortunately.
At this time last year 83 home had SOLD in North Branch with an average sale price of $216,151.
This year so far 62 homes are under contract or have SOLD in North Branch for an average sale price of $209,432
Unfortunately based on these numbers the average sales price dropped 3%
And market times have increased by 22% from 78.2 days in 2006 to 99.9 days in 2007.
Does this mean I can't sell my home?

You can not have a conversation about real estate here in Minnesota, without foreclosures inevitably being brought up. It does not take a rocket scientist to realize foreclosures are a problem, just glance at your local paper and page after page of foreclosures pop out at you.
Foreclosure=Good deal for a buyer right! Not always, Banks that own these homes here in Minnesota do NOT need to disclose anything. Was it a meth lab at one time? Does the roof leak water everytime it rains? Does the furnace work? These are all things you will not find out from the seller, ie...The Bank. It amazes … (5 comments)
