Finally! Some gorgeous weather! Weather in the '80s and calm windsmade for some.....Alright fishing...Only 4 limits were brought to the scales. The team with the biggest bag, was our points leader Tim Lindstrom and his partner Kent Minke! Together they weighed in 13.46lbs. Close behind in second was the team of Les Cleveland & Jeff Pfeffer with 5 bass for 13.36 lbs. Third went to Korey Sybrant & Jake Piehl with 13.04lbs. Located just an hour North of the Minneapolis St Paul airport on 35 you will find Rush Lake! The largest lake in Chisago County. This is truly a recreational paradise, with it split about halfway between year round residents and weekend cabin owners.

My poor, poor wife, Every Mother's day weekend she is stuck with my buddies and I for the weekend, isn't that every womans dream for Mothers Day? My buddies, and my brothers, affectionately call our Rush Lake home their cabin. This year like others before, we will be spending fishing opener on Rush Lake in Chisago County Minnesota. You can find me in the wind, the rain, and cold, promptly at midnight Saturday on a favorite fishing spot on West Rush Lake.

Actually here in Minnesota we have 11,842 lakes in Minnesota that are 10 acres or larger! Here in Chisago County, we are truly blessed with lakes! We have 64 lakes in Chisago County that the DNR has catalagued.
Having a place on the lake is a dream that most of us Minnesotans have shared. But, what does it cost to get on a lake. Well, here is a snapshot of lake home prices here in Chisago County. Help me out here! I have two acreage properties, one is a gorgeous walkout rambler on 63 acres And the other is a hobby farm farmhouse on 40 acres. Both of these properties are located in Pine County just outside of Pine City Minnesota. The problem I have been having is, on a couple different occasions potential buyers actually said, "That is more land than I need, price is great, but what are we going to do with all that land?" Both of these properties are priced great, and are just minutes from Cross Lake, Lake Pokegema, and the Snake River.

Especially if you are on Acreage or lakeshore! Our office is in North Branch Minnesota, and the home showing requests for Chisago County, Anoka County, Washington County, and Pine County have been through the roof!
