active rain: 30 Things Not to Do to Yourself and Happy New Year My Friends - 12/30/11 07:20 PM

Here I sit and wait for 7:30 to go on an appointment with Partner and Broker, Maurice. Wondering who meets with Sellers to talk price and market on their property on a Friday night to accommodate the wife’s schedule. We Do!

Sometimes there are trade off’s in time and while I have the advantage of taking a tennis clinic in the morning while others are at work, I sacrifice my Friday night to meet with folks. That is the business of real estate.

active rain: Facebook and "Life" - 12/10/10 08:18 PM

This past week was difficult...really really difficult!
One of my longest and best friends lost her husband on the early hours of Sunday morning.
Janet is the one that turned me on to Facebook.
She said "go on Facebook and it is an easy way to keep in touch"
Subsequently I moved to Florida. Janet and I would chat on the phone, but for the most part, I would log onto her Facebook page to see what was going on.
I witnessed the birth of her "step" grandchild, but really in all of our eyes, her grandaughter Riley. Through the pics … (16 comments)

active rain: The Illusive Pot of Gold on the other Side of the Rainbow! - 03/17/10 10:24 AM

Rainbows and St. Patricks Day go together, visions of the little Green Guy chasing the Pot of Gold on the other side of the Rainbow.
Rainbows are synomonious with songs and lyrics and Rainbows are Beautiful!
Some Rainbows are super huge like this one was, the arch seemed to go for miles, so big I could not capture the whole rainbow in one shot.
Other Rainbows are smaller and sometimes come from a fountain or the spray of a hose.
Others are double rainbows.
Whatever the size or the circumstances, I love Rainbows.

active rain: I Have Missed Active Rain - 09/26/09 09:35 AM

I love Active Rain. The networking, the sharing, all of the information and the friends I have made.
Over a month ago I took a position working for a Top Realtor in Naples, FL. It is a full time position and the office and team is very busy.
I just came up for air and Active Rain kept on coming up in conversations with one of the vendors. It was then that I said "Right...Active Rain...a great place to be".
