I was asked to join active rain from a respected associate at our firm, Judy Tuscano.  I'm a little slow when it comes to blogging!  Well, on my way out the door the other evening Judy sent me a message to post my first entry.  It has been several months....since I first posted my photo along with very limited information.   Well, her goes......Thank-you, Judy!   50 words she said.....

I believe that being a Realtor, we are interviewing for a new job every day!  Each person we meet could possibly be our next client.   Communication is key.   Our first meeting, is sometimes our only opportunity to sell our selves and our services.  How are we representing ourselves?  Our organization? 

I think it's important to treat people the way we expect to be treated.  Behavior breeds behavior!  I think regardless of the current financial situation in the world today, we as Realtors have a great opportunity in society to educate people to the opportunity that home ownership brings.  Regretfully, not all the interviews we have result in a sale!  Right?  Well, it's always a great time to ask for a referral!

How often do you meet people who know not one, two or three Realtors!  I think that's an awesome time to say something nice about another Realtor, we may have had an experience working with.  Remember, if you can't say something nice.....say nothing at all!

We all know that wonderful feeling of taking a seat at the closing table and feeling a wonderful sense of accomplishment.  Passing the checks to the seller (or the bank)  and keys to the new owners.  The excitement they feel is simply thrilling!  A new beginning.  A happy ending.  Isn't that what we all seek?

Whatever you do today, do it with a smile!
