Why is it so hard for me to understand the technical world? OK, I admit I am over 30. Is that the reason?
Let me give you an idea of what I mean. I have been putting off getting a new cell phone for 6 months now because I can't understand the ads. Each ad (and there are way too many models to choose from) explains all of the new functions for each phone in detail. The problem is I need a Technical Dictionary to figure out what they are talking about? C'mon! I still have problems turning off the DVD and getting back to my TV! I mean I literally spend 10 minutes clicking buttons on 3 remote controls. Some of you may be laughing, but I'll bet there are just as many who know where I'm coming from.
Hence, the Blogging Issue. When I have some time (very little time to spare for these ventures) to try to read the articles offered to help me get started, I am overwhelmed by the stuff. I seem to always feel like I need to go to the info on "Setting Up" first. After all, it does say "first". Then when I start reading about HTML addresses and such & I give up. What I am most sure seems to be absolutely primitive to those of you who are technical (and under 30), seems impossible to me.
So, if anyone is as non-technical as I am and knows how to give me some help - one simple, untechnical, for those over 30, baby step at a time - please feel free!
