Another reason to take a peek at Shoreline...
Did you know that the city of Shoreline Washington has 330 acres of park and open land spaces?  Shoreline real estate has always been sought after because of the great schools that serve the city, but many new buyers might overlook Shoreline's great park system.  Richmond Beach Park is the most obvious of the city's parks, but there are in fact 20 parks so far!  There are facilities for swimming and picnicking among other things!

Seattle Real Estate Closing Out 2008 - 12/31/08 10:37 AM
I have been quiet this week - spent a lot of much needed time with my family as we were all snowed in and got to catch up on my year end accounting for my Seattle real estate brokerage.  I even had three buyers back to back on Sunday as soon as the snow was fairly melted and the slush was lessened.   I have seen a great slow down right around Christmas and then a huge pick up in the last few days - I think the ridiculously low interest rates are partially responsible, but also the fact that there are … (3 comments)

Green Lake Real Estate Post Christmas 2008 - 12/27/08 01:19 PM
Green Lake real estate has slowed more so this month than the rest of the year despite record low interest rates.   As of today according to the stats I pulled out of the NWMLS, there have been  a total of 9 residential sales (houses and townhouses) in Green Lake for the month of December.  Now many agents write contracts to close at the end of the month so I will check back and see what the coming days bring in sales. 
The slower movement in Green Lake is not surprising to me based on holiday shopping and the horrid weather we … (0 comments)

Seattle Real Estate Getting Warmer.... - 12/15/08 06:12 PM
Seattle real estate is warming up despite the cold...
It is cold outside and the last number I saw interest rates wise was 5% for a 30 yr fixed!!!!  There are going to be some buyers out there looking at that level, so I would get some heat on in your vacant listings so we can all stay warm!

Seattle Real Estate: December 2008 Market Thoughts - 12/09/08 03:18 PM
I have been working with a lot of Seattle buyers lately trying to find good Seattle real estate out there, but the choices are extremely limited right now!  I know that many of the houses on the market right now are great houses, but because of the giant media scares everywhere and longer market times, some sellers are deciding to not list their house for now.  I understand this decision and respect it, but it is still making it difficult for me to find my buyers the perfect house.  I liked it better when there were more choices earlier in the year.
