Brier WA real estate is happening! For 2008, there are 52 real estate listings so far according to the NWMLS. Of the 52, 40 are active on the market, 1 is Subject to inspection, 3 are pending, and 8 have closed since the beginning of the year.
The houses in Brier range from a 2 bedroom/1 bath for $320,000 to a 5 bedroom/4.5 bath for $1,358,000. Ironically the top and bottom for price in Brier are actually pretty close to each other! Seattle suburb, Brier, Washington has been busy looking at its park system! The Brier Park system is pretty amazing with everything from trails to a horse arena, and now this Seattle suburb is going for more!
In addition to upgrades and improvements and an extreme diligence this last year or so in really treating our parks like gold, the city is looking at a possible dog park, improving the Brier trail system, and there will be a new skate park in Brier!

Brier, Washington's Timberline Park is in its 11th year of their lighting tradition. If you haven't seen it, it is definitely one of Seattle's must do activities for the holiday season! These Brier, Washington Residents go all out with gorgeous handcrafted painted figurines and beautiful lighting schemes.
It isn't all for the lights - these beautiful people collect non perishable foods and cash for the Lynnwood Food Bank. With heightened security during travel, passports are now required more than ever before. I am thrilled that they are easier to obtain than they used to be. My whole family got theirs all together when my daughter traveled to Italy. I figured with the new laws going into effect that required passports for even Mexico and Canada that I better be prepared.

Business Cards....What needs to be on them?
Business cards were getting out of control around here so our local MLS had to revise the rule on leaving business cards at listings. Simple business cards had evolved into full fledged advertising campaigns! They got to the point that they could easily be considered materials to solicit one's listed property!
Our local NWMLS is now cracking down and saying that we are only allowed to leave our business card or a piece of paper with our name on it (sign in sheets are okay) to comply with this rule. They still allow agents to … (1 comments)

The Edmonds School District recently temporarily closed the walking trail behind Mountlake Terrace High School between the school and Castle Crest 2. The trail is a vital transportation route for many students who live in both Brier and Mountlake Terrace and keeps them off busier streets. The trail is a vital transportation route for many students who live in both Brier and Mountlake Terrace and keeps them off of more congested streets.
