Wallingford Seattle WA Bus Routes: Wallingford is already one of Seattle's most walkable neighborhoods. Maybe that is why the founder of Walk Score (a national website that measures the walkability of your neighborhood) lives right here in Wallingford! I mean this neighborhood really does have easy access to everything. On top of that, you can find major bus routes along at least 40th, 45th, and Stone with covered ones on both sides at Stone and 40th on Stone and also at 45th and Wallingford on 45th - also on both sides.

Wallingford Neighborhood of Seattle: Wallingford is one of my top five Seattle favorite neighborhoods! It has a unique mix of being completely urban and residential at the same time. Situated just North of Lake Union in the heart of Seattle, this area has a long history of being a working neighborhood. It is a true paradise for someone looking for the ability to live in a nice home with easy accessibility to work. Much like some of my other favorite neighborhoods, Wallingford is self-sustaining. You could literally live here and never have to leave while having all your needs met.

Wallingford Center is a great community gathering place in this Seattle WA neighborhood - with the bottom two floors full of retail and bites to eat like Trophy Cupcakes plus a third level filled with studios this place is one of the reasons why Wallingford real estate is so great!

Archie McPhee - my favorite place to take my kiddies when we lived in Sunset Hill, but loving the new Wallingford location! Archie McPhee is my number one choice for a cheap day out with the kids if you want to do something fun. Just give them a little budget and send them in the store - makes for hours of fun!

June 2009 is the move date for Archie McPhee - the amazing novelty/gift/toy store that has been a staple in Ballard for the last ten years and around for 25 years! The Wallingford neighborhood in Seattle is about the most perfect neighborhood I can imagine. It is definitely in my top ten for Seattle neighborhoods! It is just West of I5 and North of Lake Union. The schools are amazing here and the parks are just beautiful. Only a little over a mile South of the main intersection of Wallingford Ave and 45th (Wallingford QFC is there) is Gas Works Park, too.
Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood is also a quick jump to Green Lake or Highway 99 for other commuting options. It is in a great location for University of Washington commuting … (2 comments)
