Some things should be common sense. If someone tells you that business is slow, or that they are having trouble making ends meet, the best response may NOT be something along the lines of “oh really? I am having my best year ever.”
How much better would it be to say something like “I’m doing okay, is there anything I can do to help you get things going again?”
People that are hurting need support and not a reinforcement of their failures. Not everyone has adapted quickly enough to the current market to maintain the same level of business as in … (37 comments)

Real estate brokers are nearly always “Type A” personalities.
It takes a driven go-getter to succeed in a business that requires you to not only find new business each and every day, but to also facilitate transactions that are often troublesome.
When you are used to going it alone, it is very difficult to relinquish control to another team member or an assistant. The urge to micro-manage each and every minute detail is overwhelming.
Delegation is the key to growing a business. Having the right people and systems in place can take any team to the next level.

While touring the countryside looking for the perfect “snow” photo yesterday, we happened across an unfortunate motorist who had slid off the road into  a deep drainage depression.
It was a miracle the car did not flip over, as the drop from the road was significant. But luckily, all four wheels were still on the ground.
The driver, although very badly shaken, was unharmed. And the car was not damaged. The only real problem was getting the car back on the road!

Sometimes circumstances make it impossible for everything to run as smoothly as we would like. And when faced with such obstacles, we have only three choices:
•1.    We can point fingers and blame someone else for the problems.
•2.    We can do nothing and let nature run its course.
•3.    We call all work together to make it happen!
