A Gorgeous Day To Show Houses In Kirtland & Chardon, Ohio - 10/24/10 10:16 PM

Today was a beautiful day!  About 70 degrees and with the leaves changing color -  WOW!  It was just the perfect day to be out showing homes!

Today's list of homes took us to Kirtland and Chardon Ohio
One of the buyer's preferences is for 1+ acres, so many of the lots were breathtaking!  Since Kirtland and Chardon are country settings we took our time and the scenic route driving between houses.
Good news too!  There are few strong maybes from today and we'll be heading out later this week for second showings!  Let's see if … (10 comments)

Customize Your Facebook Pages - Easy????? - 10/21/10 09:55 AM
Perhaps you've seen the posts about customizing your Facebook Pages as I have.
Have you thought about giving it a whirl?

I did.  It's been on my To Do List ever since I saw Brad Andersohn's blog about how to customize your fan page
In his post he references  the application by pagemodo

And I was further inspired by Al and Peggy Cunningham and Sally Weatherley who also shared their posts on Pagemodo and recent Fan Page creations.
Sally was so excited and creative that I just had to get busy!

Take a moment to read this great message from Todd Clark.  This is a great example of how important it is for our clients to trust our words of wisdom.  We are in the trenches every day and know who to stay away from!

Good Reading!

Septic Sense - 10/06/10 11:26 PM

Oh Yeah, Real estate is so exciting!
Yesterday we had a speaker on septic systems and their general anatomy at our Tuesday meeting.
It was probably the last place I wanted to be, but I couldn't be rude so I stayed.  Turned out the info was really good!  And it helped me today when I was out with my buyers.

I am working with a young couple who has lived with public sewers and public water for their entire lives and they are looking to move out of the city to get some land and privacy.   Naturally, some … (14 comments)

Foreclosure Proceedings Come Under Fire - 10/04/10 09:52 AM

This information came across my email today. I have to wonder what our industry would like right now, if our Big Government would have taken the time to examine the situation early on in the crisis instead of putting band-aids on the issues. Could we have helped more people? Could more people have stayed in their home?
I keep hearing economist after economist say the way out of this bad economy is to spend.  I know they know a lot more than me, yet I know that people will not spend if they don't feel secure.  And what is more … (2 comments)
