Let's take a look at a pretty active subdivision in west Knoxville, Whittington Creek, and see what's been happening since the last time we visited.
 
 
 
As you may recall, Whittington Creek is 8 neighborhoods in one subdivision. The boulevard has sidewalks on both sides of the street, with benches available should you want to stop and rest, or just take in the beauty of the area. This year, Independence Day is on a Wednesday. There are plenty of things to do, and a lot of events scheduled in and around Knoxville TN for some July 4th fun.
 
 
 
Festival on the 4th will be held in the Knoxville Worlds Fair Park from 2 - 10 pm. This is a free even, ending in a fireworks display.
 
 
 
Gatlinburg has a number of events starting with the Midnight Parade, and ending in fireworks.
