Since growing up and becoming a military spouse, my definition of a home has changed. A house is just the walls surrounding and the roof over it. A house is built with material. A home is so much more. A home is built by people and connections. It's the place where you go to relax and escape. Your home should be the castle that defends you from the outside world. It can be your dream come true.

What a funny name, Pooler. Short story it was named for a man. Pooler was founded in 1907. And that is the important part. It means that this year is Pooler's 100th anniversary. So to celebrate on Saturday May 19th, there will be a parade starting at 1 pm. The parade will start at the Pooler Home Depot on Pooler Parkway then go to the West Chatham Elementary School on Pine Barren. From there, the parade will head to the recreation park. There will be entertainment, games, and a lot of things going on.

You may have heard this, it seems to be the city slogan. But is it true? I guess it depends on your perspective. It certainly is not true in the summer. We are in Georgia though, so heat is to be expected. While Pooler may not be cooler in the weather sense. It is cooler than living in some of the downtown Savannah areas.

I have been doing my own research - 05/01/07 01:12 PM
The past four listing appointments I have gone on, I have been informed that they have done extensive research. They told me this upfront. Why? I can only guess to let me know they couldn't be fooled or lied to. Anyways, I did not ask them what they were thinking for a price. I had done a broad CMA before I went just to know what was out there and to see where they fell in the range. So I look around and check out the whole property.
