Craig's Clicks - ActiveRain Blog Themes (#2) - 10/29/10 01:46 PM
Have you seen that I've started handing out gold stars? You can go back to my first post if you want to get the longer introduction. I'm giving out gold stars three at a time in these different categories: blog theme, blog profile, and blog signature. I initially called the series "Craig's Picks" but I had asked for feedback for perhaps a more catchy name. We had a nice discussion with lots of good suggestions but one stuck with me more than the rest "Craig's Clicks" I like it (thank you to Judy Jennings for suggesting the name). I'm clicking

I want to start handing out gold stars! As you make comments on my blog posts or subscribe to my blog, I try as much as I can to head over to your blog too. (So many people, so little time!) Also perhaps you caught my eye as I was checking out the featured or main blog rolls. I like to learn from others. I know we all do, that's we are here in the rain to begin with! As a part of setting up your ActiveRain blog, you should give some thought to your "signature". AR gives you the opportunity to create a signature, or footer, that will display at the bottom of each of your blog posts. If a person has discovered you by means of "google" - the article that they just read is the first they had seen you. Your footer (signature) then is a chance for you to redirect them to your main website or other call to action so that they hopefully won't "surf" away from your sphere.
