Jerry Seinfeld and I Have a Similar Goal - Global Domination! - 01/31/11 08:12 PM
Jerry Seinfeld and I Have a Similar Goal Global Domination! Yes, folks, it's true! Jerry Seinfeld and I have a similar goal... Global Domination! Not many of you are aware of this, but I was originally cast in the role of Kramer. However, my Real Estate career was flourishing and I just couldn't leave my clients hanging. So, after a few episodes (to rave reviews I might add), I left the Seinfeld show. Now, many years later, I've come to realize that Jerry Seinfeld and I are working on a similar goal. We both want global domination. The only (46 comments)

I know. I know. I shouldn't even write a blog if I don't have anything important, relevant, or funny to say. So, I'm not! You are! Since I've come to the conclusion that your comments are almost always better than my blog posts themselves, today I'm giving you the opportunity to write my blog AND help my good friend Michael (24 comments)
So, since that is today's goal, I'm just going to say it loud and get it out there in the open....
I Want Your Referrals!
You see, my dear readers, it's like this. People love the Raleigh/ Cary/ Apex area. They love the weather. They love the affordable housing. They love the schools, the medical facilities, the shopping, and the (21 comments)

Homeland Security to Drop Color Coded Threat System.... But I'm Not! - 01/27/11 09:03 AM
Homeland Security to Drop Color Coded Threat System.... But I'm Not! In honor of the decision by Homeland Security to drop the color coded threat system, I decided to fill the void that will so obviously be left behind with my very own "Blog Threat Level" system. Today's blog threat level color is: GREEN, which, as you can see from the chart, indicates a "Low Brow Humor" alert. Please proceed with caution and dress appropriately!!!

OK My Dear Readers... Let's Lose Those Thighs! - 01/26/11 02:44 PM
OK My Dear Readers... Let's Lose Those Thighs! Jack LaLanne September 26, 1914 – January 23, 2011 Jack LaLanne, the "Godfather of Fitness", died the other day from complications related to pneumonia. He was 96 years old. A fixture in American culture, LaLanne opened his first fitness center in 1936 and practiced what he preached. It is reported that he worked out daily until his health wouldn't permit it. Below is a video from the debut of the "Jack LaLanne Show". Now, get cracking my friends and let's lose those thighs!
Now I'm not a fan of boxing, and I laugh at folks who say they'd get in the ring with Mike Tyson for a million bucks. Truth be told, it would cost at least that much to unscramble your brains if you did go toe to toe with a guy like Tyson. But, my dear readers, admit it. The original Rocky was a great movie. Sylvester Stallone did a great job in that screen gem. He was one (70 comments)
I'm OK. Really I Am. After All, It's Only a Game....Right? - 01/24/11 10:16 AM
I'm OK. Really I Am. After All, It's Only a Game....Right? Well, it was a tough one to watch. But, in the end, I'm proud of my New York Jets. They had a great season, which unfortunately ended last night in a 24-19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. I'm OK. Really I am. After all, it's only a game.... right? I'm still in the running to win that trip to Hawaii. But it's an outside chance now as I would not pick against my team. I also lost a bet with one of my Steeler loving friends last night, and (48 comments)
If Anyone Needs Me Today, Please Leave a Message!!! - 01/23/11 12:23 PM
If Anyone Needs Me Today, Please Leave a Message!!! OK, my dear readers, your humble Realtor will not be available from 3 o'clock until 10:00 o'clock today. I will be in my man cave watching football. With only four teams left, these are big games. And, after today, the Super Bowl pairings will be set. But, if you've been following my blog, you know there's a lot riding on these games for me too.... I Am So Close to Victory. But I Need Your Help... So, please.... If Anyone Needs Me Today, Please Leave a Message!!! (23 comments)
OK folks. Here's the deal. Every football season I participate in a contest sponsored by one of my local TV stations. I have a group of friends that also participate, and, normally, the only thing I really care about is beating them and having a whole year to enjoy bragging rights. This year is different though. As of today, I am the overall leader in the contest. My friends are not even close. So, I will reign supreme over them. But, I am in a position to win it (39 comments)

Why I'll Never Use a Bluetooth Headset! - 01/19/11 04:17 PM
Why I'll Never Use a Bluetooth Headset! OK, my dear readers, last night, after finally finishing up my Real Estate chores, I continued on my quest to visit every web site ever created. I do the research so you don't have to! (You can thank me later!) During my nightly quest I came across the video below. This is the type of stuff that just cracks me up! And, although I could see myself doing this just for the yucks, I personally hate Bluetooth headsets and will never use one! No one ever knows if you're talking to (69 comments)

I've been kind of scarce in the Rain these past few days. Busy with two sets of buyers can do that to you. But nothing was going to keep me away from my television last night. So, I took a break from Real Estate and tuned in to watch my New York Jets go up against the despised New England Patriots in the AFC Divisional Final game. Having beaten the Indianapolis Colts and Peyton Manning the week before, you just had to wonder if the (49 comments)
We all have passions in life. Some of those passions are hobbies. Some can be manifested in just trying to be the best at something. One of my passions is to bring a smile to the face of whoever I come in contact with each day. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. But, if I can make someone's day a bit brighter because I made them smile, then all I can say is, "mission (58 comments)
Many times out of town buyers, and some local buyers too, will have unrealistic expectations when moving to a new location. Here in the Raleigh/ Cary/ Apex area, when buyers fly in for the first time, they'll look out their plane's window and see a lot of trees. This is partly because one of North Carolina's mottos is "Mean About Green". We like our trees and, even though there is still a tremendous amount of growth taking place here, we want to keep as many of them as possible.

One. One. One-Derful One! Today, my dear readers, for the first time in ONE hundred years the date is 1/11/11. Next week it's on to New England to meet up with the despised Patriots. J-E-T-S, Jets! Jets! Jets!

Bye Bye Windows. It Was Nice Knowing You! - 01/07/11 04:02 PM
Bye Bye Windows. It Was Nice Knowing You! For those of you who have been reading my posts, you're well aware that I recently purchased a new computer. It was a long and well researched process, and yesterday it finally arrived! I had it shipped to my good friend, and avid Mac user, Michael Thornton, so he could tweak it up some and make my Mac experience all that it's cracked up to be. Well, my dear readers, I can finally say that the Mac experience is soooo much better than I could have ever imagined. (53 comments)
You're looking to purchase a new home. You've been on Realtor.com and a thousand other Real Estate web sites. You drive around endlessly and call every number on the signs in front of the homes that interest you. If this sounds like you, then I hate to say it, but you're going about it the wrong way. There really is a much simpler and better way of finding your new home. Hire a buyer's agent. (30 comments)
