cnn: Another Award For Apex, North Carolina? This is Getting Ridiculous!!! - 07/10/09 09:41 AM

In 2007, CNN/Money magazine voted Apex, North Carolina 14th on its list of the nation's top 100 small towns to live in.
Well now, in 2009, Forbes Magazine has named Apex #3 as one of (drum roll please...!!!)

Award winning schools, medical facilities and our great weather are just a few of the factors that got us to #3.
But we're not done yet! With only two spots to go, we won't be resting until we've reached #1...And then we can truly live up to our motto.....

cnn: Apex North Carolina "The Peak of Good Living" - 06/12/09 08:32 AM

Apex, North Carolina, a tiny suburb just minutes from downtown Raleigh, is a great little town located in the Southwest portion of Wake County. Known as the "The Peak of Good Living", Apex has grown to nearly 30,000 people, but never forgot the small town charm that made it such a desirable place to call home.
Incorporated in 1873, Apex was named for its location as the highest point on the Chatham Railroad line which ran from Richmond, Virginia down to Jacksonville, Florida.
In keeping with its rich tradition as one of the oldest railroad towns in North Carolina, … (17 comments)

cnn: What Can You Buy With AIG's Recent Quarterly Loss? - 03/04/09 12:03 PM

AIG, the world's largest business and personal insurance company, operating in over 130 countries, has just reported a quarterly loss with numbers that are just unimaginable to us regular folks. Well, thanks to some very clever folks at CNN, and Peter Wilkinson in particular, AIG's $62 million dollar quarterly loss can buy the following list of items....

The following list is from the CNN.com/World Business web site and appeared March 4, 2009. The complete story can be found here.

But this time I actually made headway into my inevitable pathway towards fame and immortality!
The other night, while pursuing my goal of searching every web site ever created; something I do when I'm not working on my Real Estate business, I came across a CNN link on their I-Report page. Grateful For a Dead Tour?

cnn: The Raleigh-Cary-Apex North Carolina Area In Pictures - 10/22/08 11:46 AM
Slightly less than 7 years ago I moved from Long Island, NY to the little town of Apex, NC.

Apex is a small suburb of Raleigh and is located in the southwest portion of Wake County, adjacent to Cary.
Raleigh, Cary AND Apex have all won numerous accolades from CNN, Money magazine and Forbes (as well as others) for their charm, affordability, school system and, well, for just being a great place to live, prosper and raise a family!
Although I do miss my local NY newspaper, and seeing my NY sports teams regularly on the TV, the … (14 comments)
