As your Raleigh, Cary, Apex area Real Estate agent, I have many responsibilities to you, my client. One of my most important responsibilities is to protect you and your money.
Here in North Carolina there is no financing contingency in our Offers to Purchase and Contract. With that being said, you are in essence, in breach of contract if you are not approved for your loan.
Along with other possible penalties, the sellers may keep your earnest money.
