mentors: The gift of tears - 12/15/06 07:00 AM
Well, when it comes to ActiveRain I have been kind of quiet all week long. While I've popped into the rain here and there... and made some comments, I have not posted. I didn't post for a couple of reasons. First, after reading many of the last few posts by Jeff Turner I have been moved deeply and profoundly and I am doing much reflecting, both personally and professionally. Next, since this was to be my 100th post, I wanted it to share something of value, something thought provoking. Many of you who have read my posts have enjoyed my "unique" sense of humor. I've

mentors: This Clown gets a Carnival and I owe it to being Active in the Rain - 11/11/06 09:34 AM
You gotta admit one of the GREAT things you can say about Matt and Active Rain is if you DIDN'T know what the heck a blog was, you sure will in a very short time. If you got kids... you might even be able to stand proud, puff out your chest and say... "I GOTTA BLOG". mentors: DIVE IN to the "INSIDE JOKES" on Active Rain - 10/02/06 07:28 PM
To all the new members here on AR I just want to point something out... you and your words are welcome. PLEASE do not be afraid to dive in and post a blog or make a comment. So if you feel a bit outside of the loop because you don't get the "inside banter" just share your “confused ignorance” with us. We will be more than happy, willing and delighted to

mentors: NO SALE! for Good Morning America - 10/02/06 05:12 PM
If you didn't catch the conclusion of GMA's "Sell Your House In a Week Challenge"... well it was NOT a happy ending. Real estate expert Barbara Corcoran gave it her all to prepare and market the NJ house and get it sold in 1 week. And while they had 80 people tour with 3 serious buyers at yesterday's open house, they just could not seal the deal. WHAT LEASONS DID BARBARA LEARN and want to share about selling in the current market? #1 MOST IMPORTANT THING: "STAGING is not optional it is ESSENTIAL!" #2 Price is King #3 There are no "Hollywood Endings"
