I got a call from a very freaked out seller last night. Through a series of unfortunate circumstances she has decided to try to sell her house as a short sale.  We have been trying for over a year to sell it as a conventional resale, but as market conditions declined, and her private septic failed, she is attempting to sell it short.  That is where this story begins.

and it reminded me that sometimes what's easy for me, is not always easy for someone who does not do real estate every day.   So I thought I would write this simple blog to help those who have the same question.

This is so sad.  It really bothers me to think that people would think so little of a living animal.  I am such a cat lover, that I too will donate a $25 certificate to pet smart or Petco to help this beautiful cat out.  He needs more than just peanut butter and cornflakes.  He needs a nice owner that will love him.  Please help spread the word.

I had someone ask me to look into a listing on mls tonight. 


This was one of the pictures that the sellers agent posted to help sell their house.  Pictures are a pet peeve of mine.  I feel that good quality pictures are a start of a good marketing campaign.  I feel bad for sellers when I see their agents post pictures like these in the mls and web to market houses for sale.  In this day and age, buyers eliminate homes by just the pictures.  Each house should have at least 30 good quality pictures in mls.  … (9 comments)
