virtual assistant: Am I a PUFFER? Have I dabbled in PUFFING? How Can I Reduce Puffiness? - 02/15/07 03:47 AM

I was reading over Scott Daniels blog this morning about false advertising in real estate, and the few comments about how often this is occurring in the marketplace. It made me stop and think about the many descriptions I write for property ad copy on flyers, brochures and online ads. Have I ever crossed the line when its some to advertising a property...??? Now, I was worried. There was that house in that great neighborhood...what did I say...it was "Immaculate". No, it really wasn't. They had birds (out of site, but not smell, mind you) There was nothing good to say … (10 comments)

virtual assistant: Please...Fill Out a "Missing Person" Report, then You'll get a Reward! - 10/22/06 12:58 PM
I recently had a meeting with a wonderful gal, a Realtor/Broker that is building her business in Investment/ Commercial Properties nationally. We clicked right away..we have children the same age, live in the same town, etc, and even though she is successful, she is finding it hard to find the right person, to do the things that her business needs right now. She has an assistant, who takes care of her daily secretarial needs, but she recognizes the need for another team member to take the burden off of her for some of the bigger ticket items needed to … (2 comments)

virtual assistant: Listing Cards...getting the sellers involved in the process! - 09/15/06 12:58 PM
Ok, so today I stumbled across yet another marketing idea...listing cards..?  There is a website that you can drag and drop a listing photo text etc. , your branding stuff and make a business card size version of a listing flyer.  I like the idea of agents being able to give those cards to the Sellers, and let them take the cards and pass them out..sort of to get a taste of marketing their own property! Drop the cards off anywhwere and to anybody...even windshields of cars! I could think of a million possibilities~ Especially if the property has its own … (1 comments)

OK, So here I am a Virtual Assistant, manually imputting my clients listings on Craigslist.com.  7 days later, I'm typing in the same info over again. But, something always nags me...from my creative eye the listings look terrible...no matter that my ad copy sounds great~ that luxury home doesn't look any better than the overpriced condo down the street!
Upon further review of the competition, I'm noticing listing ads that look like nice flyers, or website screen shots or something...BUT they are far more professional looking that what I'm putting in. so my detective work begins.  I go to Craigslist HELP, … (33 comments)
