I had circulated the following tips to realtors in my area.  I took this from a more in-depth article I had written, figuring something short, one-page, would be easier for them to read over given how busy they are.
Too much, too little information?
You only get one chance to make a first impression.  Prospective buyers make a decision within 15 seconds to one minute of seeing your home - and that's from the outside!

Okay, here goes; my first Blog entry.  From the tips I've read, I'm going to keep this one short and sweet, just to get my feet wet.
My husband and I were out to dinner with some friends the other night and I was trying to explain what I do to them.  The interior decorating part was easy, however, they had never heard of home staging.  So my explanation to them was that staging is not just about de-cluttering or de-personalizing a home that is for sale, it's more a decorating for the masses.  Interior decorating itself is such a personal thing, … (9 comments)
