good causes: Are You Looking To Donate? - 02/02/09 10:19 AM

This weekend I saw a commercial on television for Donors Choose, a charitable organization founded by a Social Studies teacher from the Bronx. I was intrigued that he was able to put this together to help teachers and students get the supplies that they need, not only for projects, but books and learning materials.
I have been looking to donate to a charity that means something to me and have been inspired by Charlene Storozuk's post here, to search for one that I make a connection with. I am most interested in donating to charities that deal with children. I … (10 comments)
