referral fee not paid - 01/30/08 01:38 PM
Hello I have a contractor that was suppose to pay me the last of a 4 payment referral fee for doing work.  He finally returned my ladder and ladder jacks, finished the property but indicated that the owner finished.  There is still 1750 outstanding.  What shoulkd i do is it really worth it to fight in court when he can file bankrupcy and wipe it out .  There is no contracts he paid me on everything else.

Hello folks us realtors have been hit pretty hard the last year with all the adjustable rate mortgages changing and people trying to sell the house with very little room in them and buyers are just waiting to see what the Federal Reserve is going to do so instead the buyer will continue to rent the property out that they are living in until things stabilize.  The buyers that you are working with may need to clear some stuff off their credit profile to make it look attractive to a lender.
