House Flipping: Great Strategy or Pure Luck? - 02/28/12 07:39 AM
Today I would like to present another article from one of my favourite Toronto realtors Heather Hadden. She has written an interesting post about house flipping, so here it is. ---
House flipping is the perfect investment with the potential for high profits. But like every high-profit investment, it involves high risks. “The masses believe in the dream that’s been promised to them, that they will be making a fortune in the next six months,” says Manuel Iraola, president of Miami-based Homekeys.net, an online real estate company for MSN Real Estate. “They don’t have the basic know-how. Here are simple statistics about GTA housing market - January 2012, from Toronto realtor Elli Davis. --- Greater Toronto Area housing statistics for the month of January have been published. If you are wondering whether the first month of 2012 was as successful as a great part of 2011, here is the answer: last month, Greater Toronto REALTORS® reported 4,567 sales through the Toronto MLS® system — an increase of 8.8 per cent from the 4,199 homes sold in January 2011! Life Insurance for Veterinarians - 02/23/12 04:38 AM
Many people I know have had the dream of becoming a veterinarian and Lorne Marr from lsminsurance.ca has written an article about insurance just for them! ---- Veterinarian is the dream career for any animal lover and according to the Canadian Government, 101,972 people across the nation are living that dream. They are doing it for an average salary of $27.42 per hour, but living it none the less. However, it's not just animals that need protecting, but humans too, especially when a family loses a major breadwinner. Sure, vets may belong to a group plan and think they have enough life (0 comments)
Mortgage Rates – 6th Week of 2012 - 02/14/12 10:38 AM
Canadian realtor David Tsegai writes an interesting series of articles about mortgage rates in year 2012, week by week. I would like to present the last one, about the 6th week of 2012.
TD and RBC prematurely withdrew their offers for ultra-low mortgage rates. Toronto-Dominion Bank, Canada’s second-largest bank, increased its special four-year closed fixed rate mortgage by 40 basis points and its five-year closed mortgage by ten basis points, and it introduced a special five-year closed fixed rate mortgage at 4.04 per cent. Offers of special rates last until February 29th. RBC increased its special five-year closed fixed rate mortgage product by (0 comments)
Calgary and Alberta Real Estate Market in 2011 - 02/02/12 08:50 AM
A year has come and gone. We now face the year 2012 with its challenges and promises of profit. But to be profitable, we need to analyse recent history - by this I mean recent real estate history of 2011. Canadian realtor David Tsegai does just that in his article that went live just a few days ago. --- 2011 started with a few signals of improvement in real estate market. The condo market, which was impeded and stagnating at its bottom a year ago, began to pop back up, mainly thanks to a planned University City project at the Brentwood (2 comments)
