Robotic Surgery - Better Outcomes, Less Pain

Robotic surgery was designed to overcome the limitations of the traditional open and conventional minimally invasive approaches. Modern surgical robotic systems provide the extended capabilities necessary to undergo cardiac, lung and thymus surgeries using only a few small incisions. With the robotic surgery system, the surgeon is seated at a nearby console and always in full control of the robotic instruments. Since the assistant is next to the patient and has direct access to the patient, he or she can assist during complex steps of the procedure.

While sitting at the console the surgeon is immersed in a three-dimensional image of the surgical field. The robotic system provides a high-resolution, magnified image that lets the surgeon see in a way he has never seen it before. Using master controls the System directly translates the surgeon's hand movements into precise micro-movements of the instrument tips. Specialized instruments increase dexterity, and help the surgeon to preserve the tissue, allowing complex repairs with minimal intrusion. The robot cannot be programmed to act independently, and therefore requires the continuous, direct input of a surgeon.

The differences between robotic-assisted surgery and the traditional open heart procedure are the way the surgeon accesses the heart. In traditional open surgery, the surgeon cuts through and spreads the breastbone to gain direct access to the heart.

In the robotic-assisted procedure, the surgeon makes several dime-sized incisions. These small access points allow the insertion of a high-resolution 3D camera, as well as robotic instruments, into the right chest. The surgeon can now see a magnified view of the heart and surrounding anatomy, and can perform precise and delicate operations with very little invasiveness.

Benefits of robotic surgery include:

-Less blood loss.

-Reduced risk of wound infections

-Less scarring and pain after surgery. …

-Shorter hospital stays

-Patients return to their regular activities much more quickly.

After heart robotic surgery, most patients are able to resume normal activities in one or two weeks. Neither the breastbone nor the ribs are cut or spread during the procedure. This shortens your healing and recovery time, lowers your risk of infection and minimizes pain after surgery.

Because robotic heart surgery is a minimally-invasive surgical treatment, patients can go home earlier and return to regular activities more quickly than with other approaches.

Aion - Strategy Guides

In this installment of game play tips, I want to talk about addons. In short, don't use them. You're probably wondering why. Well, first of all, addons to the game, created by third party developers, are created solely for the purpose of cheating the game so that you can get to high levels faster. The problem with addons is that, for one thing, they are not reliable.

Many of them will actually end up crashing the game. Some, because of addon creators who are less than honorable, install trojans and other viruses on your PC. The next thing you know, your computer is toast.

This should be reason enough not to use addons. But there is more. See, the folks at Aion had a feeling that this game was going to take off and become extremely popular...and it has. So, they built into the game the ability to detect any addon installed. If an addon is detected (which is almost a certainty) your account WILL be banned. They have a very strict no tolerance policy on this. And finally, and this is just my own personal opinion, what fun is a game if all you have to do is go through some motions to become all powerful?

A lot of the excitement of this game is because it can be so difficult at times. The thrill of getting passed a certain level is greatly diminished when you use an addon. Now, if you want to get a bit of an edge, without cheating, check out the site below. It will provide you with a number of tips and tricks to give you that edge but still keep the game exciting.

If You Want Your Real Estate Blog To Rank - You'd Better Get Serious About Links

In the matter of ranking in Google, links are king. And building lots a relevant back links is very hard - until now. There is a new network designed to work with WordPress blogs, that builds back links and takes all of the work away from the individual webmaster. It's called 1WayLinks.net and I have been using the beta for several months - and folks, this product really works.

Here's how it works:
1) You create an account.

2) You setup a WordPress blog on one of your sites and configure that blog in your 1WayLinks account. The blogs can be brand new. It doesn't even have to be indexed in Google yet (that's because Google LOVES blogs and indexes them fast once they start to send out pings).

3) Once the blog is verified to be working with 1WL, you submit one or more blog posts that will appear on the number of blogs you specify in the network. The blog posts can contain up to 3 hyperlinks, so you can link out to the pages you want, with the keywords you want.

It's that simple. WordPress does all of the heavy lifting for you, so there's no code to fiddle with. 1WayLinks uses the XMLRPC publishing protocols built into WordPress to automate creating the blog posts. Each month you're giving a quota of how many blogs your post(s) can appear on. Now that quota is 250 blogs with 3 links each.

BENEFITS

This means that each month you'll be able to get 750 one-way, in-bound links from a diverse network of blogs across the planet. With that many links aimed wherever you want, you could easily rank a lot of web sites on page one of Google.

This new service, coupled with 3WayLinks.net, will make it possible for you to rank for more competitive phrases in Google, or to supplement your home-page rankings with ranking inner-pages of your site(s).

The key to getting the most out of 1WayLinks is to choose the correct keywords. Choose keywords for which you have a decent chance to rank in the top 10 in Google - I use WebComp Analyst to make the process simple.

You'll never be successful on the web unless you start a back links building program -the 1WayLinks service is the best aid I have seen to get started quickly.

I Heartily Endorse 3WayLinks To Get Backlinks- Why:

Building backlinks should be at the heart of your internet strategy. I like to use 3 strategies for link building:

1. Article marketing - time consuming, but rewarding. My advice: choose 3 or 4 major article directories. Ezine Articles is a must, ArticleDashboard is good, so is Associated Content. Don’t spend lots of time and trouble submitting to the hundreds of lesser directories by hand- instead look at services like Article United the distribute to smaller directories. I’ve used most of the paid article submission services, they work well, too - ArticleMarketer is the best.

2. Blog Carnivals - in a previous post, I discussed how blog carnivals work. Don’t neglect this powerful and free method. I’m currently working on an automation program to submit posts to blog carnivals automatically. Stay tuned for that - it’s coming soon.

3. 3WayLinks.com this method is absolutely killer. If you have the time and inclination, I recommend you hop over to the 3WayLinks web site and check it out. This is not a reciprocal link program - it’s a totally automated 3 way linking systems that automatically will find backlinks for you - you just have to put a small piece of code on your site. This service builds links slowly, with relevant anchor text - just what the search engines want.

Jon Ledger has a link building guide on the site that is worth the first month’s fee all by itself. If you sign up for the service, be sure to try the beta of DirLinks - the new, even more powerful service Jon is working on.

Keyword selection is the most important aspect of using 3WayLinks - to use the service properly, you have to concentrate on keywords where the search results for the top 10 have a relatively small number of backlinks, but have adequate search volume. You want to be able to rank well for keywords that get decent traffic. Be sure to read all of the excellent documentation on the site - and spend some time reading the posts in the support forum.

This is the paragraph from Jon’s site that got me thinking about the power of this service:

“The niche keywords are where the real money is anyway. It’s a lot easier to get 50 sites ranking for keywords that win you 2,000 uniques a month each than it is to rank one site for keywords that get 100,000 uniques a month — even though the bottom line is the same. Read that sentence again so it soaks in!”

Yes read it again - (Hint: think - Adsense).

I have over 40 sites on 3WayLinks - and my backlinks are slowly, but very surely moving up - so is my traffic and revenue. Try 3WayLinks - you will not be disappointed.

I Get Back-Links To My Blog By Sharing My Posts

Another nice backlink method that does not cost a dime - and really takes just a few minutes to set up - is Jon Ledger's ShareAPost.com site.

The site features posts from blogs covering all categories - and these authors have authorized others to use or syndicate their content. You can't change the wording or content of the original posts, and must include all links as the original author intended. This is great news for those who contribute content - you can get your links, author bio published on other blogs - and that means more backlinks for you.

The ShareAPost service is automated, so contributing posts or incorporating posts into your blog is a snap. I began offering my blog posts as content, and to date several bloggers have incorporated my content, providing me with valuable backlinks.

Take a few minutes and set up a ShareAPost account - it's free and if you are posting useful content, you'll be amazed at the backlinks and traffic.

Call Only To The Readers That Are Ready

Remember the door-to-door salesmen who used to call on your house when you were a kid? I often wondered how hard those guys had to work just to make a few sales. They had the advantage of ‘being there’ with the customer so their sales pitches could not easily be ignored. But many, if not most of these face-to-face prospects would listen politely, but never buy anything.

On the web, we don’t come to the buyer, he or she comes to us. We call out to those who may be interested in what we are selling. We have at our disposal a neon sign to call those readers who may have an interest in what we sell, it’s called a headline. The headline is the most important piece of a sales letter. The headline functions as an announcement to all ‘passers by’ just what the offer to sell is about, and most important, why the reader should stop and read more.

A headline calls to those, and only those who are interested in what we have to say- and those are the only people that interest us. Think about how you read the newspaper. You scan the headlines and stop to read more when the headline offers something that is compelling to you. You may not be interested in a story about gardening - but understand that there is some reader out there who can’t wait to find that story about trees and shrubs that you simply passed by.

Web surfers read at a more frantic pace than even newspaper readers. Your job as a marketer is complicated because visitors to web sites are used to ads, sales pitches and offers. Our job is to get them to pause and read. The most carefully-crafted ad copy is useless unless the reader stops to read. Spend as much time on your headline as on your sales copy. Make your headline clear, but compelling - offer the reader a benefit to consider your offer. Don’t try to hide your intent - the reader knows you are selling something, make them glad they stopped to read.

Realtors, Plug Into Internet Marketing

Real estate agents comprise my biggest group of clients. I get lots of requests for help setting up websites, linking to MLS systems, etc. But when I suggest they set up autoresponders and AdWords campaigns, they usually give me a funny look - like "how much more is this going to cost me?".

Truly, adding AdWords and an autoresponder to your web marketing activities will not ‘cost' you - it will actually ‘pay' you. A well-crafted AdWords campaign might cost you $50-$1000 per month, depending on your market. The payoff from AdWords is in the form of leads - and the value of that lead depends on the Realtor's ability to convert them into a buyer or seller.

The concept is simple: get your visitor to your web page and collect their email address. Sounds easy, right? Well, that depends - on what you are giving the potential subscriber in return. Are you just saying something like - "join my email list" with a vague or non-existent benefit? Or are you offering the visitor something valuable to them in return, like a free report, free market data or something similar?

Here are some report giveaway ideas:

-"Ten Mistakes Most Home Sellers Make"
-"How To Get Top Dollar For Your Home"
-"Home Sales Data In Yourtown, NY"

You can easily type up a 10-30 page report, create a pdf of your document (sign up for MY list on this blog and I'll send you the software to do this FREE) - and upload it to go out with the first message of your autoresponder. Then follow up every 5-7 days with additional information.

How much does all of this cost? Only $20 a month - the most incredible deal in internet marketing today. I heartily recommend Aweber Communications. They are the absolute best in the business - and they use their product very well to promote their own service.

Take a free test drive of Aweber's service - even if you don't end up as a customer, it's worth the time to observe how they promote themselves and walk you through their process - a very impressive company.

Vist Aweber for more information and a free trial.

Why You Pay Too Much For AdWords

I've paid a bunch of money to Google to learn these truths the hard way, so I'll share them with you here and you can avoid the mistakes nearly all beginners make:

1. You don't select keywords properly - Google gives you zillions of keywords with their keyword tool, you don't need them all. It's in Google's interest to spray your ads across as many searches as possible, resulting in lots of ‘garbage' clicks and lots of money for Google.

2. You don't write effective ads - face it, most AdWords ads suck. An ad will never attract clicks if it simply blends into the noise. You should use effective headline techniques, just like you would for a sales letter. The challenge is the tiny space Google gives you to be unique. It can be done, and it will vastly improve your click through rate and lower your cost per click.

3. You don't create a separate ad group for each key phrase - this can't be done well unless you do step #1, but it is VITAL for you to have manageable AdWords campaigns. To keep costs low, ads have to contain the target key phrase, and you just can't do that by trying to put all your keywords in one ad group.

4. You bid too much on too many keywords - AdWords advertisers that dump all their keywords in one or two ad groups always pay too much, and have too many keywords in their baskets. More is definitely not better here - you have to go back to step #1 and winnow out the keywords that bring you sales from the ones that just cost you money.

5. You don't use exact match - AdWords campaigns that are structured properly use exact match. You must keep control, and exact match is the way to do it. If you are worried about missing some obscure key phrase combinations - don't. Most of your searches from real buyers will come from your main target phrases IF you did #1 above properly.

6. You don't start bidding low and move up slowly- your goal when you turn on your ad is to get all your keywords flagged ‘inactive for search' because you've low-balled your bids. Good - now move them up a bit at a time until you get your ad placed where you want it.

7. You don't turn off the content network - Ugh, the content network gobbles up your funds like a squirrel after the last nut on the planet. These clicks come from surfers and slugs, not buyers with money.

8. You don't track and split test - how do you know your ads are effective if you are not split testing, goal setting and monitoring CTR's? If you are not doing any of this, you are just wasting your money. Google does not care how effective your campaign is, they just want you to keep giving them money.
