It's hard to believe it's been 2 years since Andy left us. 
Branson has created an annual Christmas parade in Andy Williams honor, that kicks off the Christmas season. Of course Branson starts the Christmas season early! November 1st the town is fully decorated and Silver Dollar City Theme Park is aglow with an unbelievable amount of lights and a lighted parade at night.

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, so goes the song that "Mr. Christmas", that is, Andy Williams sings his classic Christmas tune.
Andy Williams was honored today in Branson Missouri as the Christmas season in Branson Missouri officially began. Andy loved Christmas and the music of the season. Every year his Christmas show was spectacular and was a "must-see".
The saying in Branson was 'it's not Christmas until Andy says it is". Well it began today with Andy's Moon River Theater hosting it's first Christmas tree lighting dedication.

While the rest of the nation prepares for Thanksgiving, it is Christmas in Branson Missouri!
November 1st is the official start of "Ozark Mountain Christmas". The entire town of Branson is fully decorated and prepared for what is now their most popular tourist season.
Silver Dollar City Theme Park is aglow with 4 million lights throughout the 1880's Theme Park. There is a Holiday Light Parade twice each night. Silver Dollar City Christmas  portrays the true meaning of Christmas in all their shows.  One of the special Christmas shows is a broadway musical adaptation of "Dicken's Christmas Carol".
