When Great Agents Do Good Deeds...Tina Maraj Shah is a Shining Example! - 08/21/08 10:00 AM
My good friend and associate, Tina Maraj Shah is the kind of agent that every client would be lucky to have.  Not only does she know the laws like the back of her hand, she provides outstanding service and takes exemplary care of her clients.  This story is one such example.
I remember some weeks back when Tina was contacted by a lady with a sweet British accent.  It was time to sell her much larger home and downsize.  Mavis is such a sweet, yet feisty one (much like Tina) and the two quickly bonded.  It turns out that she has no children … (12 comments)

What Do You Expect From Your Chamber of Commerce? The Fullerton Chamber Of Commerce is Here To Serve YOU! - 08/19/08 10:04 PM
I have always tried to keep my business in the city I live in.  Years ago when I moved to the City of Fullerton, I called up the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce and had their business directory sent out.  Since then I have used it to find the businesses to handle almost all my needs.  What better way to find a vendor/contractor that is accountable and gets involved in the city they serve?
Not too long ago I recommended to a friend that was starting a new business to get involved in the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce too.  She tried it … (2 comments)

You'll Never Believe What Saved Me While on Vacation! - 08/16/08 12:55 AM
No, I didn't have to get saved from a shark attack while on my beach vacation.  (Though I did panic and empty the ocean by screaming "SHARK" when I spotted a dolphin fin about 30 seconds after my son had freaked me out with a shark story.)  Yes, I was totally embarrassed but that is a whole other story...
Anyway, try as we might, Realtors never truely get to go on vacation.  For the most part I had planned it well.  I had a great voice mail message instructing callers depending on their needs. Thanks Tina for fielding most of those those calls!
I brought my computer … (9 comments)

Question: How Do Listing Agents With Continually Full Voice Mail Sell Homes? - 08/15/08 09:41 AM
Answer:  Because a tenacious agent like me will eventually track them down; Or could it be because of crazed house hunters?
In the Fullerton, CA area (like many other's I am sure) bank owned properties are highly sought after because the perception is that they are a great deal.  Well, these great deals often come at a large cost...That being that you often get beat out quickly, even if the agent isn't giving the property proper representation!
Yesterday, my client and I found an adorable bank owned home.  I called the agent early in the morning to get the combo (per … (9 comments)

A Simple Request From A Friend Mourning The Loss of Her Mother - The COOLEST Cat Sanctuary! - 08/13/08 12:42 AM
My friend Amy's Mom passed away unexpectedly about two weeks ago.  She is dealing with a lot and one thing that has been weighing on her in a big way is figuring out where her mother's cats will live.  She told me about this place she found and since people always ask what they can do to help during times like this, here is her request:
As you all know I have lovingly called my Mom, 'The Crazy Cat Lady' for years now and with that in mind, Kelly and I have been looking for homes for some of her cats.  In my … (9 comments)
