It's a constant struggle...get up, out of bed and do something good for myself!  It seems to go in spurts. I can get up and get out and get some great cardio...then, it rains, or it's freezing or my running companion, Katie Dog, has to have surgery so I get lazy.
Today was beautiful and sunny so I got up and got out. I have to hide from my dog because if she sees my running shoes, she wants to come but since she just had surgery, she is down for weeks. I feel guilty but I know she would want … (7 comments)

One of the many things I love about Fullerton is the feeling of open space when on the Fullerton Loop; a series of trails that runs through Fullerton.  You will find horses, runners, mountain bikers and DOGS!
I love running my dog up and down the hills and through the trails and trust me, she loves it too!  But, it was quite a different story today. 
While we were coming down one of the hills, a dog ran aggressively towards us, barking, growling and snapping.  All I saw was teeth and I was so scared that it was going to bite … (22 comments)

Recently I wrote a blog about how much I love walking my dog on the Fullerton Loop.  The loop is a series of trails that winds through a good majority of Fullerton.  Though a lot of people have heard of it, many people have asked me how and where to get on the loop!  It can be a little confusing but here is a rough map of the major trails that comprise the loop.

I love Fullerton! 
It's my town and so many people are drawn here for the great family feel, outstanding education, fabulous downtown, history and so much more!
But I am surprised that so many people have know idea that we have the most beautiful and amazing series of trails that run all around the city!  Together they comprise the Fullerton Loop.
