Oct 4, 2011 We had been looking for a vacation/ retirement house in the Dillard / Franklin area. A friend called and said that he had seen a house that he thought we might be interested in. This was just before Labor Day. John was the realtor for the house. We called John and told him that the only time we could see the house was on the Labor Day weekend. John was good enough to forgo his personal plans and show us the house along with three other houses on the Saturday before Labor Day. All of the houses were good possibilities and we spent a lot of time that weekend deciding which (if any) houses we wanted to proceed with. On the Tuesday morning after Labor day, I sent John an e-mail at 7:30 in the morning with a bid for the first house. John set me up with a financial institution that morning and we found that the bid had been accepted by about 10:30 the same morning. This was amazing to us because it was a bank owned property, we thought that it would take days if not weeks before we heard anything. Because John set us up with all the right people, the closing was completed by mail before the end of the same month.
