Does this seem unethical or is it just me? - 01/31/08 07:34 PM
Wednesday morning I called the owner of a listing that came up as expired in the MLS. He agreed to meet with me so I dropped off my prelist packet that afternoon and made an appointment to meet the owner at the house Thursday at 4:00pm. This morning, the day of the appointment, I was working on a CMA for the property so I pulled the house up in the MLS and much to my surprise the status had been changed back to active. I was shocked obviously (why things like this still shock me in this business I don't really … (13 comments)

Explanation of Three Rivers South Area - 01/26/08 10:49 AM

Great News for the Central Oregon Real Estate Market! - 01/15/08 06:18 PM
For those of you that have been holding out on buying a home because you wanted to wait to see what the market would do, the results are in for 2007.  According to the Central Oregon Association of Realtors, the median sales price for single-family homes in Bend held steady at $349,000, not far off the median sales price for 2006, which was roughly $351,000. Other Central Oregon cities fared similarly. In Redmond, 419 homes sold with a median price of $253,000. Nearly 44% fewer homes sold in 2007 compared … (0 comments)

My understanding of this law is that at closing, the escrow agent is required to withhold a portion of the seller proceeds for income taxes. The amount withheld will … (1 comments)
