There are many places to beat the heat in Texas. Most of them are water related. There are times however when you are tired of (or it's raining) the water parks , lakes and rivers and just want to have fun indoors.
About 10 minutes south of Tomball on 249, conveniently located at 18355 Tomball Parkway near Willowbrook Mall is a place called ITZ. You can find all of the information at www.itzusa.com/houston

It's that time again. Tomball Night is tomorrow night!! It snuck up on me this year!!
This has been a tradition in Tomball since the early 70s. It's a fun community event that can't be missed even if you have no money to spend.
For most of us in Tomball, this is when we start school clothes and school supplies shopping for some it's just a night out on the town and a time to get some really good deals on local merchandise. In an effort to show some people it is still possible to have fun while saving money, I have included a list below of fun "ice cream" drinks, deserts, etc that you can make as a family instead of hitting the Dairy Queen for $4.00 a piece ice creams. My kids say this is more fun anyway!
Root beer float- in a glass add a couple of scoops of vanilla ice cream, poor root beer over the ice cream until the glass is full. Top with whip cream and a cherry.

My husband and I went on a company sponsored fishing trip out into the Gulf of Mexico on Saturday. It was a neat experience. It was chartered by Underwater Expedtions of Freeport, TX. The boat we were on was Capt. Casey. Here is their website for more info....

Everyone meets at the dock at about 5:45. The boat heads out to sea at about 6am.

Just a reminder to everyone that we are having a motorcycle rally called Hawgs with Heart in Tomball Texas, north of Houston, on October 13th. The event is benefitting The Blue Santa's Shop With a Cop for underpriveledged children.
This event is for motorcyle riders and non-riders as well. Bring the family!!
There will be live bands, food, various vendors set up to sell their wares, a parade, a motorcycle show, prizes for motorcycle contest entrants in various categories and of course the road rally.

I heard through the grapevine that Waller High School is having Freshman Fish Camp on July 25th, 2007 at 7am. It will be held at the high school which is located at 20950 Field Store road. The time is 7am to 3pm. The cost is $20 and will include lunch, snacks and a t-shirt. Sounds like fun!

We are looking for sponsorships, riders, food vendors and commercial vendors, and volunteers. If you or someone you know would be interested let Kayknow. We are having a motorcycle rally celebrating Tomball Centennial. It will be a one day ride on October 13, 2007. The festivities will be held between the Police Station and the Depot. The ride will be a scavenger hunt and will head out in different directions starting at 10 am then return back to Tomball with a parade down Main Street.
