While a horse show hasn’t been held in New York City since the National held its last show in 2001, plans are beginning to move forward to host a Masters of Show Jumping  tournament competition in an NYC arena once more. The Masters tournament, organized by the European Equestrian Masters group, will include competitions in Paris, Brussels, and Hong Kong in addition to the New York venue. This high-profile showjumping circuit is designed to bring the sport global exposure at the highest level, and has enlisted the cooperation of top sponsors such as Gucci, Rolex, and Audi. show jumping: US drops from FEI Nations Cup Top League - 09/06/11 03:07 AM
Perhaps the weak performance at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky was a prelude as to how the US show jumping team would fare in the 2011 FEI Nations Cup Top League, a series of 8 nations cup competitions throughout Europe. The final round held in Rotterdam on August 26th sealed our fate as the US finished in 6th place which was not enough to keep our nation in the series for another year.  Now we will have to compete in the FEI Promotional League and hope we win … (0 comments)
