I am a member of the Keller Williams Realty, Capital District in New York.  We have been in operation for about 6 months and have 70 associates.  I am also on the member of the ALC(Agent Leadership Council).  When is it appropraite to be introducing a Team Leader Assistant to the Market Center? Is there a salary for this position? Can this person(TL assistant) remain in production.

The Capital District NY area real estate market in 2007 was probably closest to a "balanced market". Home prices generally leveled off from the significant price increases during the 2002 to 2005 period. In some price ranges the prices are correcting downward slightly. Average days on the market were up slightly from 2006. In 2008, there is an adequate suppley of homes on the market and with fixed interest rate thirty year mortgages in the 5.75% to 6.25% range, 2008 should be a good year for homebuyers. Despite plenty of evidence to the contrary, 77 percent of homeowners believe that their homes are worth as much or more as they were in 2006, according to a Harris Interactive survey conducted for Zillow.com.And 36 percent say their homes increased in value in 2007.The slow market also isn't discouraging homeowners from major transactions.
