Embraer, one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world, has just announced plans to build a $24 million engineering center at Melbourne International Airport. A five-year, $138 million NASA contract was just announced for a.i. solutions, inc., a space-industry company that is headquartered in Lanham, MD, and currently employs over 200 engineering, science, and IT professionals. The new contract will create about 100 new high-paying engineering positions at Kennedy Space Center in the areas of preparation and launch for NASA’s next generation of spacecraft.
