While the residential housing dilemma is getting substantial press coverage, the commercial real estate sector continues to move forward at a respectable pace and its stability is often overlooked.  Although absorption rates are not at record setting levels, supply is decreasing across most markets and product types.  The commercial markets remain healthy and will continue to benefit from the balance that is afforded through controlled and planned growth.  Population growth (or decline) will continue to have the greatest impact on local markets and product demand.
