The Fall Agenda... I am going to be running amok with some very interesting professionals when not playing with hubby and the wee people at home. The shorties may be coming with me on a couple of excursions because we have to get back to doing Life With Wee People. I've been asking the boys to make a bucket list of the people, places and things the wee people would like to devote some play time to. The Hoover Dam and The Grand Canyon is a must do. So is the Smithsonian. Stephen has been mad fun chatting about (5 comments)
My attorney gal pals are having a cow... Yo - Dudes - I'm moving not dropping dead so stop acting like it is the end of a beautiful relationship. I have a guest room. Come visit. If you still need me to do legal investigations I'll crash on the couch the same way you guys crash on my futon. Besides, I can always Fed-Ex your friggin' reports so lets not get all maudlin about things (LOL). Nothing like a bunch of intellectually gorgeous self-pitying, tearfully sentimental, lets drink away the afternoon (although we are supposed to be helping me pack) snarky (2 comments)
I did an update to my laptop and now all of my browsers are hinky (sigh). I just upgraded Firefox and it will not show me photographs but I can see pictures in IE - which will not let me format, paginate and upload (WTF? - LOL). I've been trying to figure out what I cleaned when I cleaned my computer cookies... I think I whacked something important in my registry last night because the browser updates/upgrades/reloads are not fixing the problem (sigh). Now we are all peering at my Toshiba going,"Hmmmmm..." because we are really clueless about what's going on. Next (12 comments)

Book Club Bookie Alert: Jocelynn Drake is creating a new series... I love my social media peeps. They are sooooo much fun to spend virtual time with. Earlier this evening I was hanging out in the Jocelynn Drake author chat with some neat readers and it was a very cool experience. We got a bunch of our questions answered plus found out the latest skinny regarding two new novels and two new shorts she is creating. I happen to (3 comments)
The best part of leasing a storage unit in NYC? The "no dead bodies or guns" speech (LMAO) If someone had told me I would be laughing my a$$ off with the people I'm entrusting my fave stuff with while I run amok for the next couple of months I would have YouTubed it (silly grin). Seems you actually have to be told no dead bodies or guns. They make you initial and read your storage lease/contract while placing emphasis on being serious about the no dead bodies, perishables and guns (which is said in very somber (6 comments)
Club Chaos Eye Candy: My Maryland E. A. Poe Real Estate Moment... I like playing with my TomTom when out of state. I usually pick random tourist spots to go wander about visiting. While wandering around Maryland on my way to the Baltimore harbor I stumbled across the house Babe Ruth was born at:
Reading the Babe plaque got me to thinking I should go find the Edgar Allen Poe house. Poe used to live in Maryland. Since I was staying at my gal pal Erica's condo and had some free time on my hands I (11 comments)
Pulling Cables... So I'm taking apart the pod casting corner chasing condenser mics and pulling cables when my gal pal reminds me we need to get to Starbucks because I have a potential client who wants a portrait done. I love hanging in Starbucks so I dumped a bunch of stuff in a bin, grabbed my laptop and ran out the door... I'm trying to get out of New York so I can get back to NYC in time to cover a couple of October events. I don't know if I have time to do this project (4 comments)
For Donna B: Gas your yacht here... (LOL) ;-) Yeah... I'm joking with Donna Bigda from the previous post. I had a lovely time chilling on that Baltimore, Maryland bench watching the boats gas up. Great spot to blog and be mad lazy. Seriously... I actually took 242 photographs of the Baltimore, Maryland harbor and was there half the day having an amazing time hanging out with my friends. People are pushing for more Maryland pics from me so I'll try and post more after Book Club. We've invaded Starbucks and are mad busy in Skype so I (6 comments)
Club Chaos Eye Candy: A peek at Maryland Harbor Yes, I know I owe you guys a Maryland update, especially since my running off for almost an entire week interrupted the Undie Wars (silly giggle). FYI: That bit of NYC girlie-girlie day mischief is back on with a vengeance so tomorrow's after dinner post may be VERY interesting, but I digress... (evil grin).
I have a gal pal tweet-peep who lives walking distance from this view. We got together for an afternoon work out where she made me remember just how old I am (LOL).
Yup. It's true... The Radio Silence was because I'm moving from NYC... Do you have any idea how long it takes to bubble-wrap 19 years of living in the same NYC apartment? If I were not an artist there wouldn't be issues (LOL). I've gotta get 43 paintings in storage, make arrangements for their delivery to the SoHo gallery, disassemble all that studio equipment, pack up multiple keyboards and computers, give TVs away, find a Florida recording studio (the list is kind of boring and long - sigh). Having lunch at Kyoto. Will blog after dinner and let you (3 comments)
Grand Piano... Not a Baby Grand. My bad (LOL) My gal pal Erica has this really cool Grand Piano. It is in her dining room and it is 5 feet 10 inches. She is a classical pianist and we have been hanging out and chattering for a couple of days. Yeah, I know I'm supposed to go back to New York City. I'm just having a lot of fun in Maryland right now and will eventually get back to my regularly scheduled program of pimping books and being snarky and facetious after I get some Margaret (12 comments)
Started volume two. Volume one was uploaded with 19 author tribute tracks... I get the don't go past 78 minutes mandate from Amazon so we have to split the project up into multiple volumes because it's just too much fun creating noise (LOL). Working on something cool to spoof on Kim Harrison and Jaye Wells (silly grin). Noah has me doing "Itchy Witches" for him and I've got this "Get A Room" track developing (evil grin). Looking forward to more head banging with Jeannie Holmes and there is some rockabilly afoot for Vicki Pettersson, among other things. Volume Two is (0 comments)
Tann Starr - Book Club Blues - Lynn Rush YouTube: Wasteland
Third day in Maryland: 4 photo-shoots, 3,835 animated frames later and we are still instant chatting and howling with laughter over my Druid Cemetery graveyard shoot for author Lynn Rush. Cooking up something fun for author Kim Harrison next (silly grin). ;-) Am I doing Wordy C YouTube book reviews? Hmm... (LOL).
The fun thing about having a mobile studio touring set-up is the fact that you can work just about anywhere... Yesterday I was supposed to do Book Club with my bookies, then take my gear into the studio and master two musical tracks. Instead, I was sitting on the coffee bar stool in Starbucks with my mouth hanging open because I missed a social media invitation to come out and hang in Maryland with some really cool bloggers in the real estate industry.
Some of my AR blogging buddies were asking if I was coming (10 comments)
Biking, Lace Undies, Jaye Fabulous and Sex Writing Strumpets... Yeah, I'm having a great day. Hubby joined a new gym. It is $10 dollars a month. I'm thinking that sounds like it is going to be a lot of fun because it's close to the FL house and I've been resisting his efforts at buying me a bike. Biking back and forth to the gym with Mike while the wee people are in school is now something swirling about the back of my brain. I'm thinking dollar movies, cheap pizza, ridiculously affordable gyms coupled with dodging Florida wildlife (11 comments)
