Hurricane in CT - Mandatory Evacuation in Guilford, CT - 08/27/11 04:40 PM
The Town of Guilford has issued a mandatory evacuation for all residents south of the railroad tracks. We recommend you evacuate before dark or 6 p.m. and stay with friends or relatives. If that is not possible, the Community Center is now open as an Emergency Shelter. Pets must be brought in cages/carriers and will be boarded in a special area, but will not be admitted to the Community Center.
NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT EVACUATE EMERGENCY SERVICES MAY NOT BE ABLE TO REACH YOU.

TopProducer and Realtor.com Customer Service Woes - 08/11/11 03:47 PM
Does anyone else subscribe to TopProducer or Realtor.com services?
 
I've had issues with them over the years. I first signed up for TopProducer 8i and suffered through technical issues, browser incompatibility and data loss. They updated the product so much that early training DVDs and seminars no longer apply. Thankfully, 8i has improved a bit over the last 2 years.
 
Later I signed up for MarketSnapshot. I like the reports produced by the product, but their Craigslist advertising program has gotten my account suspended on craigslist. I no longer create "Has the market stabilized" ads because I know they … (12 comments)

Do your neighbors hate you? Have they ever expressed such hate with words? What about with art?
Every neighborhood is host to disputes, debates and clashes between neighbors. Often property line disputes account for the conflict. Other times, personal matters between neighbors get the best of one side (or both).
David Muscat, of Melbourne, Australia, took his contempt for his neighbors to a higher level. He constructed a large statue of a middle finger and placed this expression of anger on his lawn for all to see. Almost four feet tall, the owner/artist carved the gesture using a chainsaw.
