Friday's Fotos...     Gee! Didja ever notice how much fun time is, especially when you are on the fly? This week has zipped past faster than a.., a... How Important IS Video?     I have been beating the drum about blogging, video and the importance of video for years. Some folks get it - most don't. Which is a good thing for those of us who do. In today's market, video is essential for you and your business. (not so) Wordless Wednesday...     Yay!!! I'ts hump day, and you know what that means. Yes! The rest of the week goes down hill from here. Didn't quite sound right but you know what I mean.      Anyway, today is the day where we let the pictures do the talking and we are to put a zip on the lip or at least curtail the use of the fimmers on the keyboard. Pixels & Pixies...     <sigh> While this will be one of those boring technical posts understanding pixels is the crux of video and photography. And yes, Toto, there is a difference between pixels & pixies. They are not created equal.      Most novices fail at video because they don't understand the basic underlying principles and their differences. Frame and pixel sizes between video, photography and monitors are different. Photography and computer monitors use square pixels, video pixels are rectangular and will be laid either horizontally or vertically depending upon whether they are digital or analog format - hence the 16x9 aspect ratio. … (61 comments)

Intro Video...     As we all know, when we are self employed, we have to wear many hats. Today, I am wearing the hat of video editor and webmaster. Tomorrow? Who knows? All I have is right now and I plan to make the most of it.         Yesterday, I spent some time reworking the new introduction to my website which I hope will be uploaded in some shape, form or fashion either later today or early tomorrow morning.
