A Business Isn't Built in a Day... Going through the motions of building a business can be a daunting task. There are websites to build, social media sites to construct, images and business cards to create and oh yes, get shake the trees in order to get the phones ringing too. Slowly but surely, all the pieces of the puzzle are coming together for Creative Video Concepts. Today, finally finished constructing some of my new FaceBook page and profile. Yes, the last of the warm weather will be gone and soon I will be looking at a gray, barren landscape for several months. Sadly, a very low percentage of the agents and ancillary businesses use video for promotional or sales purposes. Below is a video touting my latest findings. Are you using video? Why not? (not so) ~ Wordless Wednesday... I stand and watch in awe as the soft, succulent shades of Summer blend in to the crisp hues of Autumn. All too soon, the pleasant pastels of the fall will fade into oblivion as the first frost puts and end to my summer garden. Until then, I will enjoy the last blooms of the season and the wayward visitors that stop to bask in the warm sunshine...

Video ReDux... Currently, there are no "standards" when it comes to video for real estate. By this, I mean that currently, there is no defined "formula for success" that says do this, that or the other. I do appreciate the feed back from the earlier video as it did allow some constructive criticism. One never knows what will stick and what won't until it is tried. The call to action at the end will be redone early next week. I think that for her first video, Sherri did very well.

In the Palm of My Hand... The other day while working on one of my Koi ponds, I heard a loud thump on one of the glass windows to the sun room and a very recognizable squeak. Hummers get rather aggressive around the feeder this time of year as they buzz one another in order to secure the remaining supply of nectar for themselves.
